Many thanks to all who participated in last night’s robust conversation at Mary Hogan. The Library was packed with nearly fifty participants, the audience had thoughtful questions and comments, and our panelists were just as full of insight and information as we’d hoped. Many attendees said they appreciated the chance to connect around school and home challenges, and several participants urged us to find ways to a) allow more conversation about tech use among high schoolers and b) converse with each other parents, possibly in smaller workgroups. If you were there, please share constructive criticism to help us plan future events. We’ll post notes from the panel discussion once we’ve edited them, but in the meantime, here’s the Parenting With Technology info sheet shared by panelist Dr. Laura Basili. Here’s to keeping up this important conversation!
